Brampton NRI has been charged with possession of 100 kg of cocaine

NRI Kuldeep Singh Dharni, 37, a Brampton trucker was arrested shortly after customs agents found 100 kilograms of cocaine ( weighing one kilogram each, packed in four large bags) hidden in the load of aluminum coils which truck last picked up in Hammond, Ind.

 

Kuldeep was charged with importing cocaine into Canada and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. It is one of the largest drug seizure at the Windsor point of entry.

Bail hearing of Kuldeep will be considered this week
