Southern California old OFBJP  group joined with Official OFBJPLA of India

 After BJP’s victory in India in 2014 and declared Modi as Prime Minister of India, the oldest group of  BJP operated by  Harish Dhruv, Dr. Rangaesh Gadasalli, Gopal Chaturvedi, Raju Patel celebrated Narendra Modi's victory at Woodland Restaurant and later in Santan Mandir by other group. In the celebration, all other members Vijay Telkikar, Gopal Chaturvedi, Ramjibhai Patel, Mahesh Mehta from Mumbai, Dr. Mahesh Gupta, Dr. Ram Singhaniya, B.U. Patel, Uka Solanki, Prof. Kamaski of Cal State Long Beach,  Gayatri Pariwar, American Hindu Federation, UFICA, HSS, VHP, Gujarati Cultural Society , Dr. Manmohan Nayyar and Dr .Vir Nanda, of Apple Valley, California, Dr. Swaroop and Dr. Amrit Nehru, Shree Ganapat Patel, Dr. Gadasalli, C.K. Patel, BJP Adhikari, from Banaskantha,  Dr. Amit Desai, along with Dr. Krishna Reddy, Dr. Ram Singhania, Dr. Mahesh Guptaji  were present.

On celebration day, Mr. P K Nayak who was appointed  president  of  OFBJPLA was in India for the past few months to help BJP in elections.

Anil Mahajan was appointed Chairman of Los Angeles Chapter by New Delhi BJP office two years ago.  

Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale, Ph.D. (Microbiology) from University of Pune, India with 4 years experience as a Post Doctoral Fellow at National Institutes of Health, USA,  in-Charge-Overseas Friends of BJP (OFBJP) and Foreign Affairs Cell, Bharatiya Janata Party, since November 2014, stationed in New Delhi, never gave up hope to bring unity in both groups.

According to our survey of NRIpress-Club, it was a difficult task but credit goes to Avadesh Agarwal and Vijay Chauthaiwale.  Avadesh Agarwal, local well-known NRI Philanthropist and social entrepreneur continued talk both groups and other local business community. NRIpress-Club which has more than 60 entrepreneurs members in California, have a mission to bring NRI community together, spent lot of time to bring both groups together.

On Sunday July 5, 2015, a  meeting was arranged by Shri Vijay Chauthaiwale, in-Charge, Foreign Affairs Cell, BJP and International Convener of OFBJP at the residence of Shri Avadesh Agarwal including  others P K Nayak, Harish Dhruv, Dilip Butani, Babubhai Gandhi, Dr.Manohar Shinde,  Anil Mahajan, Vijay Patil, Kanaksinh Zala, Latesh Bhambhani, Ragnesh Gadassali, Ramji Patel, Raju Patel, Vijay Telikikar. 

According to the official email of P K Nayak:

“Shri Harish Dhruv's has given gentleman's words to Mananiya Chauthaiwaleji, and others present in the meeting, that he will shut down the Web Site, Bank Accounts and any legal entity, that they have created. Therefore,effective immediately, there will be only one OFBJP USA in the Los Angeles NRI community Under the leadership of Shri P K Nayak and the united organization will be in a better position to make all future OFBJP initiatives successful!”

Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale, International OFBJP Convener asked Shri P K Nayak to continue to lead the United OFBJP USA, Los Angeles chapter as of July  05, 2015 meeting in LA.
