NRI Piyush Gupta to Be Appointed Keppel’s Non-Executive Chairman

Keppel Limited announced on February 5 that former DBS Bank Chief Executive and current Temasek India Chairman Piyush Gupta will be appointed as its non-executive chairman, effective April 17.
The company said that Gupta will take on the role following the conclusion of Keppel’s annual general meeting. He will succeed the current chairman as part of the board’s leadership transition.
Gupta, a highly respected banking and business leader, spent over a decade at the helm of DBS Bank, where he played a key role in its digital transformation and expansion across Asia.
He currently serves as Chairman of Temasek India, overseeing the Singapore state investor’s activities in the region.
Keppel stated that Gupta’s extensive experience in finance, governance, and global business strategy will strengthen the company’s leadership as it continues to grow in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and asset management.
