NRI Kids
seem to get caught in a tug of war between
what they hear from their parents and what they hear from their
peers.

The common question or argument arise why NRIs selling
drugs:
Let we discuss the possible cause:
- Do these NRIs who sell drugs actually cannot get decent jobs?
- Do these NRIs use drugs and it is said that More drug users
then dealers.?
- Is this a major reason, NRI sell drugs is that we live in
a "get rich quick" society.?
- Do we taught that everyone should make as much money as possible,
as quickly as possible and never mind the consequences.?
- Why spend a year earning the money for billing when you can
get it in ten minutes?
In every area of today's society, there are many people willing
to make as much money as possible, by doing as little work as
possible, and not caring about the harm it does to their customers.
Do you ever think that why we buy a lottery ticket.? It is very
simple answer, we are all greedy, like to rich quickly without
having to work.
Since 1970, NRI first generation in US, Canada and UK, was only
concern to make money, bring their immediate families from India,
study part time to get be promoted and no time left for children.
In these years, second generation learn from us and being taught
that being selfish and only caring about oneself is right and
proper, so is it really surprising that NRI who find that they
cannot make money legally will turn to making it illegally? The
only thing that matters, as far as society is concerned, is that
you are rich, not how you made the money.
If you don't give someone support, they don't have confidence,
if they don't have confidence, its results in more problems in
later life. But they need support, not to be stuck in a prison
cell."
Save your sympathy for those who have to live in drug blighted
areas, who have relatives addicted to drugs and who endure criminal
activity because someone cannot pay for their own mistakes.
May be some people do not agree with my comments but my research
and living long time here conclude that we taught that everyone
should make as much money as possible, as quickly as possible,
"get rich quick" society and never mind the consequences.?
For the past 30-40 years, we had seen that some people brought
drugs in very small amount by hiding in their luggage or other
means from India. Society consider it as a evil-doers.
Now these days, when we are talking about 100 kg and 200 kg of
Cocaine seized from NRIs, it is a joke. This is shame for the
whole society. In north America, for the past 30 years, as a whole,
we NRIs had made reputation as honest, hard working people and
highly qualified.
We all want our kids to be successful- to do well in school,
make positive, strong friendships and avoid dangerous substances
like alcohol, tobacco or other drugs. One of the best ways we
can help our children reach these goals is to teach them strong
character traits and why each one is so important.
Kids seem to get caught in a tug of war between what they hear
from their parents and what they hear from their peers. In reality,
study after study has found that parents can make a big difference
in the choices their children make
As a parent, you can have a powerful effect on how your kids
deal with these things. And whether they see drugs as an answer.
One of the biggest deterrents is talking with your kids about
drugs.
Listen. Ask questions. Find out what they think. If you don’t
listen to them they won’t talk to you, much less listen
to you.
You can set the Rules- Kids need to know exactly what the rules
are. The rules have to be clear, consistent, reasonable. And enforced.
Every kids will try to find out exactly how far he or she can
go. And drugs are no place for trial or error.
In fact, if we can keep our children from using drugs when they
are young, we can almost guarantee that they will not fall into
patterns of substance abuse later. Since it is clear that we cannot
be with them all the time, the question is how we, as adults,
can help them to make healthy choices in their lives.
It is best to teach kids honestly about substances and their
dangers. Kids need to know that we have been honest with them
if we expect them to take seriously our most important admonitions
and warnings. Education should be age-appropriate, but kids who
want information should be given the truth.
Hey NRIs, Don't buy bigger house and costly cars if you don't
have stable jobs and enough earnings. By working overtime and
odd jobs to keep up your bills is the number one stupid decision
you have made. Who will pay the price.?... You will loose your
peace as well as no time for your kids
