Dear All,

The flood situation in Tamil Nadu after the torrential rains has caused enormous damages to the landscape of general public.  It has already left 269 dead, many bodies under recovery due to poor transportation and countless are left homeless struggling to get basic necessities like water, food, power, and a clean place to live.  As means of transport like cars and buses are submerged reeling under water, mobility to access those in need is becoming an issue as well.  As every day life is slowly limping back to normalcy, the damages done by the heaviest rain in this century will need intense rehabilitation efforts from everyone concerned. 

As our collective step forward, Southern California Tamil Organization and Southern California Tamil Manram have come forward to raise funds for this noble cause, with the support of Anekant Community Center and Jain Center of Southern California. This is entire Indian community event organized by well wishers who wanted to support noble cause.  

The fundraiser event will be a collage of performances from talented artists from Southern California and will take place on Saturday, Dec, 12, 2015, between 3 and 6 pm, at Chinmaya Mission-Los Angeles,14451, Franklin Ave, Tustin, CA 92780. 

As every calamity and natural disaster demands, this would also require people from all regions of India and other parts of the world to come together to make a significant difference.
