India Association of So California celebrate Mother’s day Los Angeles, May 26, 2015
India Association of So California facilitated Indu Ben Daba a senior resident of Laguna woods to celebrate Mother’s day on May 3rd in club five in city of Laguna Woods, to pay tribute to her mother and grandmother and same time she blessed all the mothers in the audience. She was honored by one of the founder member of IASC Mr. Pal Thakur by giving her a traditional shawl. Show started with traditional lamp lighting. Finally wish came true for Indu Ben Daba when she lit the ceremonial lamp with Nalini Bhatti, Nilam Tolani and all Iasc members while all the guest of honor standing behind her.
A local singer Siddharth Philar who had performed at Carnegie Hall in New York came on the stage and mesmerized the audience with old and new golden hit songs. Dance part of the program started with Ganesh Vandan dance by Ragaa, Esha and Diya.
Students of Savitri dance Academy added another devotional classical dance to high light the opening. After this few little rock star groups came on the stage one by one and took the guest to the fairy land by their performance. They all were just adorable in their costume. Just imagine what little girls in colorful sequence costume, designer Lahga duppat and English ball room gown with their sophisticated move and little prince bhangra group did to the stage. They put stage on fire by their performance.
MC Dipal gave little break to guest from Bollywood and brought a classical group dance on the stage. So far everyone was floating in fairy land with young artist on the stage. They gave a folk dance of Rajasthan in traditional costume and enchanting musical beats. Next Surabhi Sharma gave solo performance song Ma from movie Tare jamine ke. Monika & Niel performed one dance to represent Ace Montessori School who had donated gift for all participants. Iasc founding member Kamini Khare thanked director of the school Seema Choudhary for the gift donation.
Dancing mothers of Irvine took the stage with big bang and gave latke jhatake wala wedding dance Sara Landon tumakta. Dance part of the show ended with Rajasthan dance & energetic Bhangra dance number and classical dance by Meera and Jasmine.
President of the organization Mr. Atul Makwana thanked kamini khare and all the working committee members, Nila Parikh, Anjana Patel, Charu Shivkumar, Ravi and Ranjit Vishwanath, Chitra passi Amarjit Dhamija and Ravjibhai patel, Dipal Makwana for their support to make this even a great success. He invited Mr. Sunil Tolani CEO of prince organization who has been honored as a business man of the year award. He said, Iasc is doing great work to promote culture of India. It is only organization who is giving opportunity to all the young artist to perform on big stage. This kind of show gives the children to build their own confidence and all the credit goes to Kamini Ji, Atul ji and all the committee members who put all their time and efforts to organize such a show where more than 60 artists take part. I am committed for community cause and glad to be here today with all of you.
A singer Siddharth came on the stage and started second half with fast songs for audience to dance. Dipal thanked all the teachers who trained all the students for this special show.
