• Opened the “Route to Roots” for other countries in the world to bridge the socio-cultural distances with to India through various programs. In France, during the last 2/3 years GOPIO France under my leadership has sent FREELY without any cost or expenses 24 youngsters (18-30 years) to India (Air tickets, accommodation, food and visits included)
• Organized successfully 2 International Europe Conventions for GOPIO: Paris 2016 and Berlin 2019
• Attended regularly different GOPIO conventions and Pravasi Bharati Diwas:
- ð South Africa, Durban May 2017
- ð Bahrain, January 2018
- ð India, Vanarasi , January 2019
- ð Germany, Berlin November 2019
In all the above GOPIO International conventions, I represented GOPIO France as panelist speaker in different sessions.
- Organized several Cultural Events regularly in Paris such as : Pongal, Sakranti, DIWALI, HOLI …. In 2019, GOPIO gathered a record crowd of 30 000 people to celebrate HOLI in Paris in a private park called Jardin d’Acclimatation. (Paris, Les Sablons)
- (Youth and Indian Students): Organizing the WELCOME DAY for Indian students coming to Paris for higher studies and Research works. Every year, we act as a Facilitator in helping PIO/NRI students of France in joining French companies for Internship and job opportunities.
- Launched the GOPIO KIDS Drawing and QUIZZ competition in France which brought many families close to GOPIO.
- During COVID19 pandemic organized several GOPIO ZOOM Seminars. The best seminar was the special one with highly recognized Motivational Speaker Shiv KHERA with the help of Dhiraj Ahuja of GOPIO Delhi chapter. •
- Awarded on 74th Independence Day by Embassy of India in Paris special recognition for having helped PIOs locally in Paris and in India (Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai) in distribution of Ration bags to the needy populations. •
- Received the ELS Edification Plus UK Humanitarians Award for the year 2020.
