Amanpreet Kaur Bahia 33, was murdered and found in a pool of blood on her kitchen floor, in the 5800 block of 125 Street, Newton about 11:30 a.m on Feb. 7 with one year old daughter Jessie sitting on her body and three years old, Birinder was upstairs alone. Third daughter, Harkaran, 9, was in class at Surrey's Khalsa school. Amanpreet's father-in-law, Didar Singh, came upon the horrific scene and found her dead.

Her father-in-law Didar Singh, mother-in-law Karam Kaur, were also living in this house

Cpl. Dale Carr of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team said about 15 police officers are working on the case, but so far they have no suspects, nor could they say how or exactly when Bahia was killed.

There were no signs of forced entry to the house, which stood empty with all the curtains drawn Thursday. Investigators know what was used to kill Ms. Bahia and whether the house was broken into, but are not releasing further details.

The Bahia family operated a blueberry farm nearby. Amanpreet's husband Baljinder Singh Bahia was away at work at their Cloverdale farm at the time of murder
