What a great evening full of Bollywood music and dance?

It was organized by Classic Production USA Inc. in collaboration with International promoter: Kamlesh Bhuptani (CHAKLU). It was held at La Mirada Performing Arts Theater in La Mirada, CA on April 12, 2009 in the evening.

The program started at 7.50 PM with the first number classical Bhajan by a young artist Harish Moel. Then a very talented young lady dancer Monalisa danced on Bollywood tunes and she mesmerized the audience. Along with her there were two other girls and two young boys. The boys were full of energy. It looked like if we are watching some Bollywood scene on the big screen.

Now comes Charanjeet, a talented and versatile local singer LA’s favorite along with his full orchestra. He gave a wonderful performance. People clapped for a long time and shouted once more once more.

At 9 PM the king himself walked on the stage and the audience started whistling and screaming the name MIKA, MIKA…………… He started singing his hit songs from the movies. The first song from Jab We Met “Maujan e Maujan” then “Singh is King” and so on. He also kept dancing along with singing and people from the audience started dancing on their chairs and clapping will not stop. He truly enthralled the audience. Then he sang one Punjabi song. After that there was a break.

Again after the break MIKA came and started singing his hit songs some Bollywood ands some Punjabi. He sang some folk songs like “Bollian” etc. At the end his last Punjabi song was “Do Nali”. What a scene. He allowed the audience to come on the stage and stage became a dancing floor. The crowed was cheering and singing along with the king MIKA. All in all the evening was full of excitement and enjoyable. It lasted till 11 PM.

Amrik Singh, known as Mika, was born in 1977

• He He is the younger brother of famous Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi.
• His career evolved from kirtan singer to bhangra/pop artist. He gained much media attention for his kiss with Rakhi Sawant in June 2006.
• He has also sung the hit song "Mauja Hi Mauja " from Jab We Met.. He also has a track from Singh Is Kinng in his kitty.
• He has signed a film as an actor with Sunil Shetty's production house for a film named Loot
• He is also set to release his 5th studio album in 2008 which is highly anticipated due to the involvement of Vikas Kohli and the work done at the Fatlabs studio in Canada.
