NRI Actress, Genelia D'Souza starring in Neelakanta's film "Mr. Medhavi"

Mr. Medhavi is a Telugu Movie , which has been announced in 2007. This film is going to be directed by renowned Directed Neelakanta. This film is inproduction. and starring Raja and pretty famous NRI Genelia D'Souza . This movie turns around the corporate circle and will definitely represent Software guy's lifestyle which might be my future also. But i doubt this can appease the masses. This can definitely hit the big malls if it has stuff but among masses it can be a stub.

Genelia D'Souza has been winning best actress awards at various awards dos for Dhee. Neelakanta did to his Sweta (Genelia) in his latest offering 'Mr Medhavi'. Well, for starters, Sweta has large, beautiful eyes, cute smile, oodles of attitude and business acumen. She is the today’s girl, comes back to India like many NRI kids these days.

Neelakanta drives home a very important point that is lost on many of the younger generation kids these days and to have the right sense and sensibilities and to live life king size.

The film starts off in Koduru, where a young Vishwak meets Sweta who comes from Canada for a vacation to her grandmom’s place. Incidentally, she goes to school for the time being at the local school, where she meets Vishwak. That’s when love blossoms. At least for Vishwak and he grows up loving Sweta, heart and soul.

He soon masters the art of making the best for himself out of any given situation. Destiny brings him to the company that is owned by Sweta’s father. Here, the old friends meet once again. But this time around, Sweta is the boss’s daughter and dreams of setting up a pharmaceutical company. That’s when Sweta and Vishwak get to work and spend time together.

While Vishwak works his way towards making Sweta love him, she springs a surprise on him by announcing that she is head over heels in love with Siddharth (Sonu Sood), a millionaire-turned-HR guru. Seeing his game plan boomerang, Vishwak tries his best to take Sweta’s mind off Siddharth. But the more he tries, the more she is convinced she has found her ideal man. Whether Mr Medhavi’s calculations work out for him or not is something that you will have to check out for yourself.

Raja suits the role of the calculative yuppie really well. His soft features work well for the role of a smooth operator. Genelia is good as Sweta, though Sonu Sood looks like a lost pup in almost all his scenes.

NRI GENELIA D'SOUZA

• Genelia D'Souza, was born on 5 August, 1982 in England.
• She has acted over a dozen films in South Indian cinema.
• Her parents originally hail from Goa and later moved to England. They are a Christian
• She got her first break in the movie "Boys" directed by Shankar. Genelia has so far acted in over a dozen Telugu, Tamil and Hindi movies.
  

  Genelia studied at Apostolic Carmel High School in Bandra, Mumbai. After school, she joined the St. Andrews College, Bandra to pursue a Bachelor's Degree. Mumbai-based Genelia starred in the big budgeted Boys by top director Shankar. She starred opposite fellow débutante Siddharth. The film was a box-office hit and launched her career.

  Genelia D'Souza left Kollywood for a while to concentrate on the Tollywood industry, starring in other successful films including, Satyam, Masti, Samba and Sye. She followed it up with a pairing with popular actress Shriya in Subhash Chandra Bose. She returned to the Tamil industry with the hit, Sachein with Vijay. Her film, Happy opposite Allu Arjun was a hit.

  Genelia D'Souza's most recent film, Bommarillu, with Siddharth Narayan, is a super hit. Chennai Kadhal, her Tamil project did average business. She was also a part of Mani Ratnam's stage show, Netru, Indru, Naalai. She has also been a part of many TV ad campaigns, the most famous ones being for Fair and Lovely, Cricket World Cup 2003 with Kris Shrikanth and Parker pens with Amitabh Bachchan.
