Mr Puri has not only served the local Indian ethnic community through IALA, but via Festival of India Association (FIA) and Punjabi Heritage & Cultural Society (PHCS) as well. He currently sits on the Board of those organizations as well. Vineet has played an important role within PHCS and FIA to organize the "Holi" and "Vaisakhi" festivals as well since 2012. Vineet is also actively involved in organizing various festivals at Valley Hindu Temple of Northridge and Ventura Hindu Temple; he works with several other non profit organizations like "India Friends Association" (IFA) in Thousands Oaks, CA to organize various fundraisers for the upliftment of the underprivileged in India. He also works with India Cultural Society (ICS) of Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks to organize various Diwali events as well since last two years now. Today it gives us immense honor to showcase him and to laud Mr Vineet Puri's achievement on becoming the New President of IALA. India Independence Day celebration brings more than 10,000 Indians every year and provides platform to community talent to showcase their talent live in front of thousands of people. This year Indian Ambassador Honorable Mr Arun Singh attended India Independence Day celebration.

Last week, India Association of Los Angeles (IALA), unanimously elected Vineet Puri as their new President for the year 2015-16. Vineet, a Realtor by profession has been serving the Local community of San Fernando Valley for over 15 Years now. Vineet Puri and his wife Kavita are well known faces in the local San Fernando Valley Indian community circle, they never shy from helping any organization to promote Indian Culture, heritage by organizing various social and cultural gatherings. 
Vineet started as a Joint Secretary at IALA in 2008, and ever since then he has held several positions in the association from being a Secretary to Executive Vice President and more recently as the Board of Director. IALA represents over 60,000 Indians in the San Fernando valley and the neighboring areas.
