Southall, April 01, 2005

More than 15,000 people are expected to celebrate one of the biggest festivals in the Sikh calendar this weekend at Southall

Superintendent Laura Nicholson, of Ealing Borough Police, explained: "Local policing arrangements of approximately 100 police officers will be in place to help preserve the dignity of this religious procession.
