DORAHA (LUDHIANA), PUNJAB, 2 October 2026: Founded in 1996 by Mr. Anil K. Monga, DBC Trust commemorated its three-decade journey on October 2, reflecting the values of Truth, Peace, Service and Humanity that have guided its work. Speaking on the milestone, Mr. Anil K. Monga, Chairman, DBC Trust, who has made more than 100 trips from New York to India in connection with the Trust’s work, said, “More than 30 years ago, we set out with a simple belief that serving humanity is the highest duty. Every meal served, every young person placed in a job and every senior citizen who calls Heavenly Palace home reminds us that this work belongs to the many people who have walked with us. We are grateful to them, and we are only getting started.”
Three Decades of Impact
Over three decades, DBC Trust has built humanitarian initiatives spanning hunger alleviation, healthcare, livelihood development, senior care and child welfare. Through Brahmbhog, more than 30 million meals have been served, with approximately 20,000 meals currently distributed every day across Delhi and Punjab through 11 food trucks. Its Margdarshan initiative has trained and placed more than 11,000 young people in employment, approximately 85% of them young women between the ages of 18 and 25.
