Heavenly Palace, the largest senior citizen home of its kind hosted International Senior Citizen’s Day in the divine presence of spiritual leaders, social reformers, senior citizens, destitute and orphans. The Heavenly Palace demonstrated that borders and divisions dissolve as people from across religions participated and benefited from its services. People from diverse social strata and backgrounds celebrated the vision and mission of the DBC Trust which has dedicated itself to the serving of the neediest since its inception in 1996.

The Chief Guest, Hon’ble Mr. Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab, was warmly welcomed by the Chairman of DBC Trust, Mr. Anil K. Monga. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Kataria applauded Mr. Monga’s tireless efforts in the service of humanity over the past 29 years. He highlighted the unique initiative of the Heavenly Palace, which provides care, comfort, and companionship to senior citizens, making it a model for similar institutions across the country.

Governor said “Dream and Beauty Charitable Trust is doing commendable job by providing medical services, surgeries and free medicine in slum areas. They serve more than 15000 nutrient meals every day 7500 in Slums of Ludhiana and 7500 outside hospitals in Delhi too. He further added that the youth from slums and dysfunctional families are trained and jobs are facilitated by the teams of DBC Trust.

On this occasion Governor inaugurated the facility named Heavenly Angels to house more than 300 orphans and a Joyful Living a destitute for senior citizens and deprived women with a capacity of 150 beds.

World Peace ambassador His Holiness Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti, whose spiritual wisdom inspired the audience said the youth of India is the future of the nation, yet many gifted souls are left struggling to survive because their families are unable to support them.

DBC Trust’s orphanage creates an intimate family environment where the resident senior citizen treat them like their grandchildren that has established a healthy lifestyle that compliments each other and inspires these children towards success.
He praised the Chairman of the trust whom he said was fulfilling his duty by providing the comfort of home to 150 orphan children in Heavenly Angels and housed more than 450 senior citizens in Heavenly Palace in the state of Punjab.

Acharya Manish, a renowned Ayurveda expert and founder of Jeena Sikho HIIMS Hospitals says by encouraging a disciplined lifestyle of Seniors at Heavenly Palace and children at Heavenly Angels that includes healthy eating, regular health checkups, exercise and stress management, is helping them keep healthy mind and body.

The celebrations featured a vibrant cultural program, presented by the residents of Heavenly Palace and the children of Heavenly Angels, the orphanage run by the Trust. Traditional dances, melodious songs, and a captivating drama brought joy and cheer to the gathering, embodying the essence of love, unity, and cultural heritage. DBC’s Board Trustees Rajesh Narula, Amrinder S Dhiman, Anil Singhania, Amrit Bhambari, Neeru Sital and coordinator Jt GM Col. Parminder Singh gave full support for success of the event. Acharya Manish, ADC Khanna Smt. Shikha Bhagat, SSP Khanna Dr. Jyoti Yadav, SDM Payal Sh. Pardeep Singh Bain PCS, Chairman CWC Ludhiana S. Gurjeet Singh Rumana, SMO Payal S. Harwinder Singh were also present on the occasion.

In his thankyou note, Mr. Monga expressed his gratitude to the Hon’ble Governor, His holiness Acharya Dr Lokesh Muni and other dignitaries present sharing exciting plans for the future. He emphasized the Trust’s mission to continue uplifting the downtrodden sections of society, focusing on providing shelter, medical care, education, and holistic support through various programs. Emphasizing on his vision for Global Peace and Harmony, Chairman Monga said, if we all participate in the wider objective of lending a helping hand to those in need, we will very soon see a massive shift in the world we live in.
