Dr. S Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister, expresses grief over 9 Indians killed in Saudi road accident

Dr. S. Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister, also conveyed his condolences, saying he was “saddened to learn about the accident and the loss of lives.” He confirmed that he had spoken to the Consul General in Jeddah, who is actively supporting the affected families.
The Consulate General of India in Jeddah has assured full support to the families of nine Indian nationals who tragically lost their lives in a road accident near Jizan, in western Saudi Arabia. The consulate is working closely with local authorities to provide assistance.
Expressing deep grief, the consulate stated, “Our heartfelt condolences to the affected families. We provide full support and remain in touch with the authorities and families. We also wish the injured a speedy recovery.” A dedicated helpline has been set up for further inquiries.
The Indian government is closely monitoring the situation, ensuring that all necessary aid is provided to those impacted by this tragic incident.
