NRI, Harry Sidhu was elected to the Anaheim City Council
in November 2004. Prior to his election, Harry served as Chairman
of the City of Anaheim Budget Committee.
He was recently installed as 4th District At-Large Representative

Audit Committee.
As a young engineer and trained firefighter,
Harry was tapped to serve as Fire Chief for Kaiser Aluminum
before he went into business for himself. His experience instilled
in him a deep appreciation for the job local firefighters
and police officers do for their community.
Harry Sidhu understands the value of honest,
hard work. He worked his way through college, earning an engineering
degree. He started a small business that began with a single
restaurant. Today, that business has grown to more than a
dozen local restaurants.
Married to wife Gin for 20 years. They have twelve year old
daughter and seven year old son who go to public school. Harry
cares deeply about our community.
He is a successful Businessman- Owner
of restaurants in Orange and Riverside Counties, Real Estate
Broker, General Contractor, U.S. Defense Industry Engineer
for Hughes Aircraft, Former Fire Chief for Kaiser Aluminum,
and Graduate of Drexel University - B.S. Degree in Mechanical

Harry believes that Anaheim's rising crime
rate is unacceptable. On the City Council, he will work to
make Anaheim's schools, parks and streets safe once again
by putting more police patrols into our neighborhoods.
Harry will bring a common sense approach to
problem-solving, focusing the City Council on the things that
can improve the everyday lives of people who live in Anaheim
- street repair and lightting, neighborhood clean-up and code
enforcement, public safety.
His Political Philosophy:
My political philosophy is a simple one. Individual opportunity
and a healthy environment help foster individual achievement.
I have seen this with my own life, and others around me. I
believe that less government is better. Its better for businesses,
better for parents, better for our community. I know that
people want to be free to pursue what's best for them and
those goals, creates a society that is more efficient and
productive. We all do better, when left to our own means.
Government should facilitate, not regulate.
