During a late September rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, former President Donald Trump launched a barrage of insults at his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris, mocking her intelligence and repeatedly calling her “stupid.” Trump mispronounced Harris’s name while the audience chuckled, claiming that “something is missing” in her and suggesting that the immigration system was being run by "stupid people" like her. Over the next several minutes, he doubled down on his criticism, calling Harris “stupid” multiple times, as he has done consistently since Harris was named the Democratic presidential nominee in July. Trump has frequently ridiculed Harris, labeling her “dumb,” “mentally unfit,” and a “low IQ person.” His relentless attacks have sparked accusations of racism and sexism, especially given Harris’s qualifications as the former San Francisco district attorney, California attorney general, U.S. senator, and current vice president. Many critics argue that Trump’s insults play into harmful stereotypes about women of color, perpetuating the notion that they are not smart or capable enough for leadership roles. While Trump’s campaign denies any racial or gender-based motivations, Harris’s supporters see these comments as deeply offensive. A’shanti Gholar, president of Emerge, noted that such attacks carry a different weight when directed at women of color, highlighting the long-standing stereotypes they face. Harris’s team has largely avoided responding to these personal attacks, focusing instead on her qualifications and experience. Despite warnings from advisers, Trump continues to mock Harris, appealing to parts of his base who resonate with this rhetoric. However, polls show Harris maintaining strong support among women and Black voters. As Trump persists in his attacks, Harris’s campaign remains focused on her track record, refusing to engage with Trump’s "tired" and divisive playbook.   News Source : Click Here
