Mr P V Abdul Wahab filed his nomination papers here on Friday for the ensuing Rajya Sabha polls for three seats fallen vacant. Wahab replaces the late League Secretary Korambayil Ahmed Haji, Rajya Sabha MP. He is the Muslim League's Rajya Sabha nominee and the richest MP-aspirant in Kerala's electoral history.

Wahab will now be the League's star spokesman in place of the fiery-tongued G M Banatwala of Mumbai whom the League recently dumped unceremoniously.
