NRI  Maninder Sidhu Secures Re-Election as MP for Brampton East in 2025 Federal Election

                NRI  Liberal candidate Maninder Sidhu has been  re-elected as the Member of Parliament for Brampton East in the 2025 Canadian  federal election. Sidhu, who has represented the riding since 2019, secured a  decisive victory over Conservative candidate Bob Dosanjh Singh. In the 2021  election, Sidhu garnered 53.49% of the vote, reflecting strong support within  the community.  
    
                  Throughout his tenure, Sidhu has been an  active member of the Standing Committee on Natural Resources and the Standing  Committee on Transport, Infrastructure, and Communities. He has also engaged in  various international parliamentary associations, including the Canada-Africa  Parliamentary Association and the Canada-Europe Parliamentary Association.  
About Maninder Sidhu 
                
                  - Maninder Sidhu, born in April 1984, is a  Canadian Member of Parliament representing Brampton East since 2019. A member  of the Liberal Party, Sidhu was re-elected in 2021 with an increased margin,  reflecting strong support in his constituency.
 
                  -                     In Parliament, Sidhu has contributed as a  member of the Standing Committee on Natural Resources and the Standing  Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities. He is also active in  international engagement, participating in parliamentary groups such as the  Canada-Africa Parliamentary Association, the Canada-Europe Parliamentary  Association, and ParlAmericas.
 
                  -                     In March 2021, Sidhu was appointed  Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Development,  supporting Canada’s efforts in global humanitarian work and sustainable  development.
