NRI Vikrant Jolly qualifies as Barrister and Solicitor in Ontario, Canada

Vikrant Jolly has successfully qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor in Ontario, Canada, after clearing the Barrister & Solicitor Licensing Examinations conducted in Toronto.
Licensing examinations were declared on August 12. Vikrant, who is enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Association of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, is set to be formally called to the Bar of Ontario later this year.

Vikrant Jolly had successfully passed all the NCA exams in his first attempt and received Certificate of Qualification, demonstrating my knowledge and skills in Canadian law.

He has over three years of experience in practicing civil, criminal, family, and arbitration law, handling various cases from drafting to trial.

He has contributed to the resolution of complex disputes, the protection of human rights, and the provision of legal advice to clients from diverse backgrounds.

He is passionate about providing legal awareness to deprived individuals and subjects of society and exploring the interlinkages between laws governing multiple countries, including India and Canada.

He holds B.A.LL.B. (Honours) degree from Panjab University, where he studied various fields of law and participated in moot court competitions and legal aid camps.

He also completed an internship at a district court, gaining exposure to the judicial system and the litigation process. He has a strong interest in learning new areas of law and enhancing his professional development.
His goal was to open a law firm that offers multidisciplinary legal consultation and representation, benefiting society at large and maintaining the economic cycle at a core level.
Vikrant’s father, Dr Tejwinder Singh, a retired District and Sessions Judge. Dr Tejwinder Singh himself was recognized as the youngest Magistrate in India, with the achievement finding mention in the 1993 edition of the Limca Book of Records
