President and CEO Nachhattar Singh Chandi of Chandi Group USA and his wife Susana Chandi, the COO and Co-Founder of Coachella Valley based company, Chandi Group USA Inc. invited 100s friends, relatives and business community leaders to celebrate the Grand Reopening ceremony at the Mecca Travel Center in the Town of Mecca on 66th Ave. and Highway 86 on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 10:00 am.

They are also invited NRI Community leaders and local officials for the ceremony. The event was opened to the public and had bounce houses, a petting zoo, music, face painting and much more.

In 2002, Nachhattar Singh Chandi bought a 40-acre property and constructed a truck stop with an ARCO ampm called Mecca Travel Center. It include Starbucks, Subway, Del Taco, Restaurant, Grcery, and other serviceses such as Laundry,Showers, Mechanic, Tire and Towing etc.

 This Mecca Travel Center, AM/PM has a lot to offer. It's a big place, and it pretty much has everything you need: water, soft drinks, hot dogs/chicken sandwiches/burritos, snacks, chips, toys, automobile accessories, etc.Great location when traveling from L.A. or any of its suburbs to Mexicali or Imperial Valley towns. Nice location to stop and stretch your legs 

The Coachella Valley is a desert valley in Southern California that extends approximately 45 mi in Riverside County southeast from the San Bernardino Mountains to the northern shore of the Salton Sea.

Travel Center Building and other stores

The Coachella Valley is sometimes called the "Desert Empire" to differentiate it from the neighboring urbanized Inland Empire and Imperial Valley. The Coachella Valley became popular among celebrities from Frank Sinatra to Dakota Fanning who came to enjoy vacations and winter homes in the desert resort community. It became a real estate destination in the 1980s and 1990s. 

The reopening was started with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m. by Riverside County leaders and local officials

Palm Springs has become a tourist attraction. In a 2003, Palm Springs was ranked one of the top 10 global vacation destinations, and the smallest one in population.

 
 

After the celebration, delicious food was served to all guests by Mantra restaurant.
