Guru Nanak International Education Trust to Host Educational Annual Event and Lunch in Hoshiarpur

The Guru Nanak International Education Trust, under the leadership of Chairman Ranjit Singh OBE (England) and the Executive Committee, has announced its upcoming Educational Annual Event and Lunch. The gathering is scheduled for Wednesday, 14th October 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Government Elementary Smart School in Village Ajowal, Preet Nagar, District Hoshiarpur, Punjab.

The prestigious event will feature DGP A.S. Rai of the Punjab Police, Chandigarh, as the Chief Guest. Harjit Singh Grewal, Chairman of the National Commission for Minorities, Delhi, will attend as the Distinguished Guest of Honour.

Other notable dignitaries and speakers expected at the event include:

Ranjit Singh OBE, Entrepreneur & Community Leader, UK

NRI Ranjit Singh is a well-known businessman who dedicated decades to the construction industry and the promotion of interfaith cohesion and Sikh heritage in the United Kingdom.

• Early Life & Emigration: Born in India, he qualified as an electrical engineer. He emigrated to the United Kingdom in 1963, working as an engineer for ten years before pivoting his career.
• Business Career: In the late 1970s, he established the RK Group of Construction and Property Companies , which grew to employ around 100 people in the London area.
