Dr. Salwan President PDS honoring Ms. Nicette Short Manager Legislative affairs CDA

Punjabi Dental Society had its meeting in Quiet Cannon Montebello, California. It was well attended by over 600 dentist members. Dr Robert Salehrabi , assistant clinical professor at USC was the guest speaker. He shared latest developments in endodontics. Ms Nicette Short Manager Legislative Affairs of California Dental Associations updated members with affect of Affordable Care Act on dental practices, its potential impact on dentist, the oral health delivery system and its effects on dental benefit market. On behalf of entire membership of Punjabi Dental Society Dr R. Salwan, President of Punjabi Dental Society recognized Ms Nicette Short for her dedication and Contribution to profession of dentistry. Mr Bob Walker from Wealth Cornerstone visited the issue of financial planning for retirement.

This event was sponsored by Med-Pro a warren Buffett’s insurance company,   Bank Of America, Septodent, Mikel’s Insurance, Punjabi Dental Society is over 3500 members strong in California. Punjabi Dental Society is A USA based organization with its chapters in India and other states of US.

Dental and Eye Treatment and Check up Camp was organized at Village Gaunspura near Rajpura on 23rd November 2013 by United Sikh Mission and Punjabi Dental Society More than 2000 people  attended the camp. Free Medicines, Cataract operations and Spectacle were provided. Free Tooth Pastes, Tooth Brushes and Mouth Washes were given to the needy. This Camp was co-ordinated by  S. Rajpal Singh Nagra.  Eye check up and operations were performed by Dr Manpreet Singh and his team. Dental Check up and treatment was provided by Dr Vinod Kapur Chairman PDS( India Chapter), Dr Vinay Goyal President PDS( India Chapter) Mobile Van provided by Gian Sagar Dental Hospital.
