Indian Overseas Congress USA Hosts Meet & Greet with Rajasthan Assembly Leaders

The Indian Overseas Congress USA (IOC USA) hosted an engaging Meet & Greet event on August 1, 2025 in New York. The evening brought together members
of the Indian diaspora and political leaders from the Rajasthan Assembly, fostering
dialogue on key socio-political issues and strengthening ties between overseas Indians
and their homeland.
The event was honored by the presence of Shri Tika Ram Jully, Leader of the
Opposition, Rajasthan Assembly; Shri Ramkesh Meena, Deputy Leader of the
Opposition, Rajasthan Assembly; and Shri Aamin Kagji, Member of Legislature,
Rajasthan Assembly. The distinguished leaders shared insights on the current political
landscape in Rajasthan, the challenges ahead, and the pivotal role of overseas Indians
in supporting democratic values.
The meet was organized by Mohinder Singh, President, IOC USA, Pradeep Samala,
Working President, North East Zone, IOC USA, John Joseph, Senior Vice President,
IOC USA, Baldav Singh Randhawa, Vice President, IOC USA, Dr. Joshua Jayasingh,
Treasurer, IOC USA, Imran Pasha, President, New York Chapter, IOC USA, Leela
Maret, former President, Kerala Chapter, IOC USA.
Members of IOC USA, community leaders, and supporters attended the event in large
numbers, demonstrating their solidarity and commitment to India’s democratic
principles. The visiting dignitaries expressed their appreciation to the attendees for their
active participation and commended IOC USA for organizing such a meaningful
interaction that strengthens the bridge between India and its global diaspora.
