Shiromani Akali Dal , Badal ( SAD ) must take lessons from Haryana results - Grewal
             New Delhi: October 21, 2014
National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that the Shiromani Akali Dal , Badal must take lessons from the poll outcome in Haryana. He said the SAD , Badal should know that its experiment of having a coalition with other parties had failed to bring any harm to Bharatiya Janata Party. Grewal said that BJP has emerged stronger despite their opposition, our alliance partner must understand that it has failed to make any difference in Haryana. Advising to the SAD to re-think it's strategy, Grewal said the SAD claimed that the INLD was its long-term partner. Grewal said but it’s against the coalition Dharma of the NDA. The poll outcome of Haryana is expected to leave strong bearings on ruling alliance of Punjab. Shiromani Akali Dal, Badal leaders proactively campaigned in favour INLD candidates against their Punjab ally BJP candidates during Haryana elections. The assembly election results will make BJP more assertive in Punjab where it has a coalition Government with the Shiromani Akali Dal, Badal. For last few decades the BJP was acting as a junior partner in Punjab but after land sliding victory in Lok Sabha elections, followed by massive success in Haryana and Maharashtra assembly elections, the political out fit seem to be in mood of throwing away the junior partner jacket. The analysts suspect that the BJP may not be interested in triggering break up with immediate effect but it might decide to contest 2017, the state assembly elections alone in Punjab.

              NEWS FROM HARYANA ELECTIONS
Grewal launches veiled attack on Badal's Shiromani Akali Dal for tying up with INLD "Our allies partner, Hathi Ke Dant khane ke aur. Dekhane ke aur"

              Ambala: 11 October 2014
National BJP Leader from Punjab Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today launched a veiled attack on NDA ally Shiromani Akali Dal for tying up with Indian National Lok Dal in Haryana to fight against BJP candidates. Talking with the media at Ambala he stated that “Our allies partner, Hathi Ke Dant khane ke aur. Dekhane ke aur", what is there in Haryana of Punjab Shiromani Akali Dal. There National President, National Vice President, National Secretary i.e. Akali Dal "National" word ends only after Rajpura. It's a regional party. Grewal has come support of Assem Goyal here today. Grewal said that Sukhbir Singh Badal now controled 100% of the Cable TV Networks. He said that in our constitution there is “Right to Freedom of Speech and Expression" enshrined in Article 19(1)(a) of Constitution of India and termed Freedom of Press, "a Treasured Privilege”. Grewal stated that Sukhbir Singh Badal have imposed an undeclared Emergency similar to an Internal Emergency declared by Indira Gandhi in 1975. Grewal stated that the modus operandi of Sukhbir Badal is similar to Indira Gandhi, Late Congress tyrant, who suppressed thought process of the editors through her 3 point programme: allocation of Government advertising; shotgun merger of News agencies; and use of fear arousal techniques on Newspaper Publishers, Journalists and Individual Shareholders. Grewal added that Sukhbir Badal is one step ahead of late Shmt. Indira Gandhi. Grewal said Shiromani Akali Dal support a person who claims that he will take oath from jail, how can they (Akalis) support convicts who have been jailed,” Grewal also said that in an apparent reference to the SAD fighting October 15 Haryana assembly polls in alliance with the INLD. INLD President and former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala, who is out on bail on health grounds in a teachers recruitment scam case, had a fortnight back said he would take oath as the next Chief Minister from Tihar jail. It's well known that Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has campaigned for INLD in Haryana and even shared stage with O P Chautala in Jind on September 25. SAD President and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal also began a hectic poll campaign from Sirsa today to seek votes for the INLD-SAD candidates. BJP, an erstwhile ally of the INLD, is for the first time in Haryana’s history contesting on all the 90 assembly seats on its own. Grewal said that we always respect our elders, but not those like our allies who are campaigning for corrupt and jailed politicians, he said in an apparent reference to Badal Sahib, who has campaigned for INLD in Haryana ahead of the polls. Grewal also targeted Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, claiming that he has taken the state backward and mocked at his claims of making "Haryana No 1"in terms of development. Grewal said that it is clear that seeking votes for BJP to strengthen the hands of the our Hon'ble Prime Minister, who is shineing like "Druv Tara's Light", he said Narendra Modi is the answer to take the country forward in future.

Singh, at Bus Stand Jodhan near Ludhiana.

Grewal told that this drive is the country's biggest ever cleanliness drive that is expected to cost over Rs 62,000 crore, asserting that the "Swachh
Bharat" mission is "beyond politics" and inspired by patriotism. Talking with the media persons here today Grewal said all the governments in this
country in each and every state have made one or the other effort to do this work. He told that several political, social and cultural organisations have made efforts in this direction for the 5 year long campaign that will cover 4,041 statutory towns of the country. Grewal said that this task is not the
responsibility only of safai karamcharis or the government but of all the 125 crore Indians. He said that he is aware that the criticism of this
programme will begin in just a few days but said he is prepared for this exuding confidence that the countrymen will not let him down.
Grewal stated the launch was preceded by cleanliness campaign week beginning
September 25 which saw Central Government and State Government offices being
spruced up by discarding or overhauling old furniture and sending old files
to record rooms. He said that the launch of the mission comes in the wake of
a perception about Indian cities not being very clean. Grewal said that a
large number of people in rural areas still do not have access to toilets.
He said that some schools in the rural areas also do not have toilets.
Grewal told that according to the Census 2011 and only 32.70 per cent of
rural households had access to toilets. He also told that according to a UN
report released this year, India continues to have the largest number of
people in the world defecating in the open.
Grewal said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been talking of "Clean
India" in his major speeches, and most people feel that personal push being
given by him to sanitation would have an impact. He said that a "clean
India" will be the best tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth
anniversary in 2019. The Father of the Nation had a penchant for cleanliness
in his personal habits and strongly promoted it in society.
