                Bharatiya   Janata Party (BJP) expects that over one lakh people would attend the   rally and the people of Kashmir are eager to listen to Hon'ble Prime   Minister Shri Narendra Modi. National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha and   Former Prabhari Jammu and Kashmir Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that   despite militant threats and the vicious misinformation campaign   launched by PDP, NC the party is ready for the PM’s rally. Talking with   the media persons here today Grewal said that our party Bharatiya Janata   Party (BJP) expects that over one lakh people would attend the rally.   He stated that it's a sheer frustration on the part of the PDP leaders   that they have now chosen to spread rumors to score the point. He said   that the people of Kashmir have made up their mind that they would be   voting for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) this time so as to empower the   Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to carry out his visionary   agenda of development in Jammu and Kashmir. Grewal stated that our party   Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is determined to hold the rally at any   cost and it would not be cowed down by the threats in the form of   militant strikes. He said that the people of the Valley are eager to   listen to Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi agenda for the   development of Jammu and Kashmir and the police and other security   agencies have made "fool proof" arrangements. Grewal claimed that over   one lakh people will attend the historic rally which will be a turning   point in the politics and governance of the state. He said that the   people of Jammu and Kashmir and have seen the misrule of successive   Governments of two families and have this time pinned their hopes on   Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

              Srinagar : 7 December 2014 - 
              Hon'ble   Prime minister Shri Narendra Modi will visit Srinagar tommarow,   December 8 and address an election rally at Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium.   Talking with the media persons in the office of Shri Moti Kaul Candidate   from Vidhan Sabha Habbakadal in the Kashmir Valley, National Secretary   BJP Kisan Morcha and Former Prabhari Jammu and Kashmir said, “The Prime   Minister Narendra Modi is arriving Srinagar in the morning of the   December 8 and will hold election rally in Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium at 12   noon that day". He said this Rally will clear the political scenario to   the whole opposition of Jammu and Kashmir elections. Grewal cleared that   the political scene in the Jammu and Kashmir indicated a wave in favour   of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), claiming that the party would fare   better than what was being projected in poll surveys. He said that   Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have a vision for Jammu and Kashmir and   that vision is based on Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee vision of "Insaniyat,   Jumhooriyat and Kashmiriyat". Grewal said that I am in Srinagar and will   only leave after our party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) forms the next   Government here in the State Jammu and Kashmir.

                Holding   Congress party responsible for all the problems in Jammu and Kashmir,   National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that   Sikh Community in the state always suffered at the hands of National   Conference and Congress parties as according to him these parties never   showed seriousness in resolving the issues confronted to the Sikh   Community. 
                BJP Kisan Morcha National Secretary, soon after meeting   Sikh delegations in Srinagar told reporters that BJP is hopeful and   confident that it will achieve its target in the State. He expressed   hope that the people of the state will give a decisive mandate to the   BJP to form the next Government. 
                Grewal said that the slogan of BJP   is "Sab ka Saath, Saab Ka Vikaas" and it has nothing to do with the   religion of anybody. He assured Sikh community that their demand to   grant Sikh's as minority status in the state will be taken up with   Central BJP High command through Avinash Rai Khanna MP, BJP State   Prabhari Jammu and Kashmir and the matter will be sought out after   elections.     
                Grewal said that the Congress party is responsible for   all the problems in Jammu and Kashmir as they failed to deliver when   they were first part of the coalition with PDP and with the National   Conference for the past six years. BJP Leader from Punjab Grewal who is   in Srinagar in connection with the ongoing Assembly elections, expressed   hope that BJP would form the next Government in the state. He said that   they are overwhelmed to see the response of the people in Kashmir.

 Jammu and Kashmir Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Elections announced in five phases between November 25 and December 20, 2014 and votes will be counted on December 23, 2014 
 We all know that Jammu and Kashmir always been the point of discontentment between India and her neighbour Pakistan.  
 Today,   Indian National Congress and National Conference are in majority in the   state legislature with 17 seats and 28 seats respectively. Under   article 370, Jammu and Kashmir was granted a special autonomous status 
 The   Assembly Elections of 2002 in the Jammu and Kashmir seemed to be   turning point in the political history. The elections helped in   restoring the faith of people of Jammu and Kashmir. It was the time when   PDP came into the power and soon there was a new chapter which was   ready to be written in the political history of the state. In the last   Assembly polls of Jammu and Kashmir, the National Conference won 28   seats, People's Democratic Alliance 21 seats, Congress party 17 seats,   BJP registered their win in 11 seats, while others won 10 seats.

 ‘Our party slogan is "Sab ka Saath, Saab Ka Vikaas"   it has nothing to do with the religion of anybody,” talking with the   media after meeting here today, Sukhminderpal  said. “ Assuring to to   sikh community that their demand for facilities to Sikh's as minority in   the state will be take up with Central BJP High command through Avinash   Rai Khanna MP, BJP State Prabhari Jammu and Kashmir and the matter will   be sought out after elections.”  
 Grewal   said that the Congress party is responsible for all the problems in   Jammu and Kashmir as they failed to deliver when they were first part of   the coalition with PDP and with the National Conference for the past   six years.  Sukhminderpal   Singh Grewal  said that we are overwhelmed to see the response of the   people, I toured the sikh majority areas i.e. Jawahar Nagar and of   Baramulla of the state and was surprised to see how much the Sikh   residents love our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.  
 Grewal   also react to Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad remark that 90% of the   crowd in Shri Narendra Modi rally in Kishtwar constituted outsiders, he   said the Congress party has insulted the people of the state Jammu and   Kashmir. Grewal also react to the manifesto released by Congress party,   he said that Congress party's manifesto is nothing more than rubbing   salt on the wounds of the people of the state as they failed to do   anything for them when they were in power in the state.  
 “Hon'ble   Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has a dream for the state of Jammu   and Kashmir, to bring it on the developmental map of the country, “ said   Grewal. “Shri Narendra Modi does not indulge in the politics of region   or religion, he believes in the slogan of justice for all in the State.   He wants to provide world class infrastructure to the state of Jammu and   Kashmir, generate job avenues for the people of the state to bring them   out of the miseries of poverty and development of Jammu and Kashmir.”

BJP field Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal for Srinagar election campaign in "Sikh Areas" 
   After   successful innings in Haryana assembly elections now Bharatiya Janata   Party (BJP) has decided to field it's National BJP Leader from Punjab   Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal in Srinagar poll campaign, signaling the   rising clout of the star campaigner in the party (BJP) in "Sikh Areas".   Grewal today leaved from Amritsar at 12:00 noon to Srinagar and reach   here 01:00 on Srinagar airport. He will address public meeting at in   Srinagar in Sikh areas. It's well known to each and everybody that in   the run up to the assembly elections in Haryana, Sukhminderpal Singh   Grewal and Navjot Singh Sidhu had taken on BJP's Punjab alliance partner   Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) criticising it for supporting Haryana   Ex-Chief Minister Shri Om Prakash Chautala led Indian National Lok Dal   and publicly exposed the wrong doings of Shiromani Akali Dal Chief.   According Party office sources that let Shiromani Akali Dal, Akalis say   anything but he is indispensible for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) high   command. So this campaigning for party candidates in States other than   Punjab, is also an indication of Grewal is playing an important role in   state or national politics in times to come. Grewal has been specially   chosen for campaigning for party nominees keeping in mind his demand by   the youth (BJYM Former Punjab State Chief) of the state.
