  • The NRI Banquet hall you book for your corporate event will have a massive impact on your guests’ experience—and not just because of the space itself.

A good venue will provide excellent catering services, friendly attendants, and all the amenities you require.

You must consider Important Banquet Hall Features:

    • Does your banquet hall have enough room for all of your guests?

    • Convenient Location & Parking- If you’re inviting guests from various locations, pick a banquet hall that’s easy to find and centrally located. A banquet hall with high guest capacities should also have the right amount of parking space for everyone, so no one has to park on the street.

    • Professional Staff-  It’s one thing to have all the right supplies for your event, but none of that matters without great service.

    • Outstanding Catering- A banquet hall should have beautiful tables, chairs, linens, and fine cutlery.

    • No matter the event, they are always looked after with care, and enjoy the best cuisine, cocktails, and sound system.

Brampton banquet hall ordered to temporarily close during health inspection

A Brampton banquet hall was temporarily ordered to close following health inspections that identified several food-safety and sanitation concerns.

The Galaxy Grand Convention Centre, located at 200 Advance Blvd., was recorded as closed by Peel Public Health during inspections on July 8 and July 10, 2026. The July 8 inspection listed eight violations, including concerns related to pest control, food temperatures and storage, cleanliness of food-contact and non-food-contact surfaces, housekeeping, food-handler certification and overall health hazards.

A follow-up inspection on July 10 resulted in another closure, with inspectors citing pest-control concerns, inadequate potable hot and cold running water and conditions considered a health hazard.

The facility subsequently passed an inspection on July 16, although inspectors recorded one housekeeping-related violation.

Peel Public Health records also show that the convention centre has previously faced pest-related violations, including a conviction in 2025 for failing to protect the premises...Read More
