NRI Prem Paramesvaran Aappointed in President Donald Trump’s Advisory Commission

The commission would review claims of voter fraud, improper registration, and voter suppression

NRI Prem Paramesvaran, has been appointed in President Donald Trump’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islander.

Prem Parameswaran  is the Group Chief Financial Officer and President of Eros International Plc’s North America operations.

• Parameswaran joined Eros International Plc in 2015.
• Eros International is the Indian motion picture production and distribution company
• On December 20, 2018 Eros announced that Prem has been appointed to the Company’s Board of Directors.

Prem achieved phenomenal success as investment banker. In his 23 -year career in Investment Banking, Prem became one of the top Media and Telecom bankers on Wall Street. 

• He advised clients and many Fortune 10 companies on mergers and acquisitions, as well as both public and private equity and debt financings.
• Throughout his career, he has executed over 300 transactions.

The Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity (PACEI), also called the Voter Fraud Commission:

•  Presidential Commission established by Donald Trump that ran from May 11, 2017 to January 3, 2018.
• The commission would review claims of voter fraud, improper registration, and voter suppression
• Vice President Mike Pence served as chair of the commission

Prem Paramesvaran was born October 4, 1968 and brought up in New York.

• Parameswaran graduated from Columbia University in 1990 with a BA in Political Science
• He also received an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School in 1995.
• He was a defenseman on the Columbia University hockey team.

He is currently resides in Purchase, New York with his three children, Trinity, Kayla and Hudson. Like his parents, Prem is a staunch Republican. He was invited to the White House Oval Office Reception for Diwali in 2017 with President Trump.
