NRI Sabih Khan, 30, Apple has officially named as its new chief operating officer, replacing longtime COO Jeff Williams in a move that will take place later this month.
- Nri Sabih Khan was born in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, in 1966. His family moved to Singapore when he was in fifth grade.
- Dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and mechanical engineering from Tufts University
- Master’s in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI)
- Began professional journey at GE Plastics as Applications Development Engineer and Key Account Technical Leader
- He began his career at Apple in 1995 within the purchasing team.
- He Promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations in June 2019, overseeing global supply chain, product quality, planning, manufacturing, logistics, and supplier responsibility initiatives
- Recognized as a driving force behind green manufacturing, helping reduce Apple’s carbon footprint by over 60%.
