T-Mobile has announced the appointment of NRI Srini Gopalan as its next Chief Executive Officer, effective November 1, 2025. Gopalan, who currently serves as the company’s Chief Operating Officer, will succeed Mike Sievert, who has led the telecom giant through a period of rapid growth and transformation.
Sievert will transition to a newly created role as Vice Chairman, where he will continue to serve on T-Mobile’s Board of Directors and management team. In this capacity, he will focus on strategy, innovation, talent development, and external relations, ensuring continuity as the company navigates the next phase of its expansion.
Gopalan, widely recognized for his leadership in operations and customer experience, is expected to bring a forward-looking vision to T-Mobile as the company continues to compete aggressively in the U.S. wireless market and expand into new technology-driven areas.
