NRI Navroop Singh, 24, from Hayes, UK, has been sentenced to life imprisonment after being found guilty of raping a young girl and attempting to rape a woman in two separate incidents last year.
Following a thorough investigation by the Metropolitan Police, Singh was linked to the crimes through CCTV, forensic evidence, and witness accounts. He had threatened one victim with an imitation gun in Southall Park and later assaulted a child in Hayes End Park.
Singh must serve a minimum of 14 years before he can be considered for parole. Police praised the courage of the victims and pledged to continue prioritizing the safety of women and children.
