NRI Pritam Sharma, 38, New Jersey, a diamond importer
was arrested for stabbing two brothers at their jewellery Store,
named NFS Diamonds, sixth-floor, 56 W. 45th St.
According to New York Post, Sharma entered the office
in the early afternoon, according to investigators, argued with
Eyal Yehiel, the firm’s owner, claiming he owed Sharma money,
and then stabbed him in the torso.
Wyzak Goeta, brother-in-law of Eyal Yehiel tried
to intervene was slashed on his right hand. Mr. Sharma was also
injured in the scuffle.
The police said all three men taken to the Hospital
and that were not life threatening.
Pritam Sharma was charged with two counts of assault
and criminal possession of a weapon.
