Bangalore, Jun 30 : The case of retired Saudi Arabian Airforce Officer NRI, Ali Mohammed Khan (70) found murdered in his car at Garvebavipalya in Madivala has been solved. Amanulla alias Adishwar was arrested for his murder.

As per Amanulla, he killed Khan as the latter had molested his wife who was an MCS graduate working at a software firm. The alleged victim is polio-stricken and wheel-chair bound. When Amanulla came to know this he kept quiet but planned to retaliate and do away with Ali Mohammed. The following day, on June 20 after his wife went to work Amanulla asked a nurse friend working at a private hospital, to call Ali. Claiming to be Amanulla's wife she called Ali over to her house in Garvebavpalya in Madivala, which was actually Amanulla's own house.

Ali Mohammed came to the house armed with a kitchen knife around 12.30 pm, hoping to see the handicapped woman. As soon as he entered the house, Amanulla attacked him by first punching him in the face, disarming him by throwing off his knife and overpowering him completely. Soon due to the attack Ali fell unconcious, whereby Amanulla then allegedly strangled him to death. After removing all his belongings and throwing them in a nearby drain at HSR layout, Amanulla drove Ali's Maruti van into his house and put his body inside, where it was later found.

According to B N S Reddy, DCP (Central Division) after due investigations the motive for the murder was found to be the inappropriate and deceitful behaviour of the deceased. The police also traced the calls made to Khan's mobile and found that he had received calls from two phones that of the nurse and Amanulla. The nurse was later questioned who told them that Amanulla had fled to Chennai where the police team arrested him.

As per police investigations Amanulla and the handicapped Hindu girl fell in love and got married. The couple then moved to Bangalore from Chennai after the girl got a job in an MNC in Bangalore. They were residing at Garvebavipalya. Amanulla was unemployed but was doing a course in animation.
