Inspector General of Police, H S Dhillon told reporters
that nine people arrested in connection with the murder
of SGPC member in Mukerian.
Kuldip Singh was killed in October last year by contract
killers at the behest of an NRI Gurdev Singh after
a disagreement over a piece of land belonging to Gurudwara
Chak Alla Bakhsh. Police have recovered the weapons
used in the murder from the possession of the accused.
NRI Gurdev Singh returned to USA after the commission
of the crime. Jaswinder has been arrested while Salinder
was still at large whereas
The victim and the NRI belong to Chak Alla Bakhsh
village, IGP said, adding the conspiracy of killing
Kuldip was hatched by Gurdev, his newphew Salinder
Singh and one Jaswinder Singh.
