NRI’s death in a five-star hotel in Bandra, is still a mystery

FOLLOWING the mysterious death of a 30-year-old non-resident Indian in a five-star hotel in Bandra on Sunday, police are still unsure of the cause of his death.

Though the post-mortem report has stated that Nadeem Iqbal Bidiwala died of head injuries and skin burns caused by his bathroom shower, his heart has been preserved for further examination, said Additional Commissioner of Police (North-West) Parambir Singh.

Meanwhile, his body was handed over to wife Nausheen (26) on Monday. Nadeem married the Jogeshwari-based businessman’s daughter on Friday.

He was found dead in the bathroom of their suite on Sunday morning. He is believed to have collapsed while taking a shower.

He was found with burn marks on his neck and was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he was declared dead before admission.

Relatives have told the police that Nadeem had earlier had one heart attack and also suffered from diabetes
