Rajwinder Singh, who had Rs 5.3 crore reward on his head
for killing Australian woman, arrested in Delhi

Delhi Police on Friday arrested Rajwinder Singh for allegedly killing an Australian woman in Queensland in 2018. The accused was absconding since he murdered the Australian citizen.

The arrest came after Queensland police had offered AUD 1 million reward for leading to location and arrest of Rajwinder Singh on November 3 this year. It is said that this is the largest reward ever offered by the department in exchange of information about the accused.

Australian authorities informed that Rajwinder Singh, 38, flew from Sydney to his homeland the day after 24-year-old Australian Toyah Cordingley’s body was found on the Queensland state coast on October 22, 2018,

NRI Rajwinder Singh is the lead suspect in the 2018 murder of Queensland woman Toyah Cordingley. A $1 million reward has been announced for information on his whereabouts with anyone across the world urged to come forward.

Police have released new images of fugitive Rajwinder Singh who they believe may be responsible for the brutal 2018 murder of Queensland woman Toyah Cordingley. Investigators are hoping the reward – The largest in the state’s history — will help them find 38-year-old Singh who was last seen in India. Police discovered he fled Australia for India two days after the murder, leaving behind his job, wife and three children.

Police has now for the first time released images of Mr Singh leaving the country on October 23, 2018. The photos, taken from CCTV footage at Sydney airport before travelling to India. Rajwinder Singh was born in Buttar Kalan in Moga district and is believed to be living in India
