NRI widow from California, Nishi Malik tried to
registered a fraud case with police against a prominent businessman
for allegedly duping her of Rupees .55 million to her, but was
refused.
Then through her lawyer, she approached the Patiala
House court alleging that businessman/Builder, Ajay Singh the
owner of Atlantic Multiplexes Ltd duped her of the said amount
after inducing her to invest in a shopping mall.
On Friday, the Connaught Place police station registered
the case with the order of the Patiala House court.
In the complaint, she said that Ajay Singh was a
friend of her husband, approacher her to invest to constuct a
shopping mall in Lucknow, UP with 50:50 partnership. She paid
all the money within two years
The police officer told media that they have registered
a case of cheating against Ajay Singh and investigations are in
process
