Five Entrepreneur NRIs (Non-resident Indians), Romesh Wadhwani founder of Symphony Technology, Bharat   Desai and Neerja Sethi founder of IT consulting and outsourcing company   Syntel,  Rakesh   Gangwal-former CEO and Chairman of US Airways Group, John Kapoor founder and executive chairman of Insys Therapeutics, Ram Shriram-one of Google's early backers, were recognized  as 'The Richest People In America 2016' list. 
               Romesh T. Wadhwani  has   been recognized by Forbes Magazine and is  one of the 5 NRIs in the   Forbes 400 richest people. Wadhwani has been ranked 222nd on the list   with a net worth of $3 billion. He likes to give away much of his wealth through his   Wadhwani Foundation.
