UK NRI, Gurmukh Singh, 53, with 'baraatis' was going to marry
Gurjit Kaur, 42 of Virk village, near Phagwara when his first
wife Jaswinder Kaur's brother Santokh Singh and relatives made
a hagama by throwing chairs and crockery on baraatis. Most of
the baraatis were drunk and started attacking back. The police
arrived and controlled the situation.
Brother of Jaswinder, Santokh Singh claimed that Gurmukh Singh
did not gave a divorce his sister and despite warning he went
for second marriage
NRI Gurmukh Singh gave some papers to police that he had given
divorce to his UK wife. Now the police is verifying these papers
with UK Embassy.
Brother of Jaswinder says that these all papers are fake.
