gap between of people from all backgrounds by sharing music and
culture that not only inspire natives of the region but also those

Janice Miller is one of those who was inspired by Asha Bhosle
and Lata mageskar, two famous Indian singers. She began singing
their classic songs and shocked everyone, when she started singing
the songs of an old Punjabi folk singer from Pakistan, Mallika e'
Tarrnum Noorjahan. Songs like “ Sanu nehr wale pule te bula
ke, te apay mahi kithe rah giya" are very difficult to sing
even for a trained voice. Janice Miller impressed a lot of people
who requested. She flown out from Dallas, where she has established
her music group and Rizwan Pirzada also entertain the audience with
his lovely voice of famous Indian songs.

and future who have helped them reach this milestone to share this
event with them.
The museum has been closed since May 11 for renovations, making
this the longest closure in the museums history. The renovations
have been highly anticipated and much needed for the aging building.
Some of the more extensive and much needed repairs being done include
modernizing the lighting, replacing floor coverings and crumbling
plaster, and installing new humidity controllers.
The repairs have allowed the museum and gardens to fulfill its
original function as a community arts and event center and to continue
to serve the public as an institutional gem, offering a renovated
structure to house the thousands of rare and beautiful objects that
make up its collection.
