California Walnut Gurdwara celebrating Vaisakhi and Turban Day on April 15th, 2007

Sri Guru Singh Sabha Walnut will be celebrating Vaisakhi and Turban Day on April 15th, 2007. The celebration will start on Friday April 13 with Arambh Sri Akhand Path which will be followed by Path Rehras Sahib and Kirtan on April 14th. On Sunday there will be melodious kirtan by Akhand Kirtani Ragi Jatha and Ragi Jathas of Bhai Manohar Singh Ji, Bhai Raghbir Singh Ji and students of Punjabi Gurmat School Walnut.

The Gurudwara Walnut is also celebrating the Turban Day on April 15th to inspire the young generation to embrace Sikh values and tradition. Children wearing the turban on this day and those that wear turban on regular basis will be given awards and gifts by Gurudwara Walnut. The langar sewa on April 14th and April 15th will be provided by Gurbachan Singh Juneja family and Saab Singh Bhullar family respectively.
