RahTwoFive is a Los Angeles based rapper, writer / producer, actor / model, and fashion designer from from Detroit, Michigan. Rah’s name originates from the first three letters of his full name, Rahul. His nickname in high school was Rah which quickly turned into his artistic persona. Rahtwofive had just acquired the opportunity to show off his talents RaH states, “I can’t wait for you all to hear and see my new album, songs, and see my videos. His work has received top acclaim from major record label executives, as well as numerous other rap and hip-hop stars and producers.
He later changed the “H” to set himself apart when his first name is used by itself. The “TwoFive” is a part of his birth date, and also has a deep, metaphysical meaning for the artist. RaH states of the name, “I think it’s cool, because it’s the name of the Sun God of Egyptian mythology, and I love the sun! My family and I traveled to Egypt around the same time I got the nickname, and it just stuck.”

Rah's musical style includes a mixture of genres entailing R&B, rap, hip-hop, jazz, and trap. With a love of music, and an array of musical influences, RaH states that he is influenced by "people who are not afraid to express their true feelings, even if it's controversial to the general public." Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Billy Joel, The Weekend, Drake, Usher, and Diddy have all influenced the singer, with him adding that he is influenced by "artists who perform at a super high level and take their artistry beyond the music, in to short films, and amazing shows."
Music videos released by RahTwoFive include "Super Winner, "Purple Tears," and "Fire," the latter of which also includes rapper and internet star Zay Hilfigerrr whose video "Juju on the Beat" has received over 375 million streams on You Tube. One of the more successful artists on SoundCloud; RahTwoFive's songs have gained hundreds of thousands of listeners per track. RaH and his brother always used to sing around the house growing up. RaH says that when he was a teenager, he really began to love singing, and released his first song at just 17, getting a really good response. He states that he then realized that music was something he wanted to seriously pursue. |
