A line of blood donors formed at the Sant Nirankari Mission (SNM) center in Southern California on Sunday, April 25, 2010 exhibiting the message of human unity. The SNM Southern California center held a blood donation drive in Norco, CA, with the help of Lifestream. Many members of the Mission and nearby community members came to donate blood. The blood drive was organized as part of an annual event, called Human Unity Day, held worldwide at all SNM centers.

The Sant Nirankari Mission is not a religion, but an all-embracing spiritual movement dedicated to human welfare. It endorses achievement of Universal Brotherhood which is inherently essential for peace and progress of the humankind.
The Mission believes that devotion to God is best depicted through our actions and behavior towards the fellow human-beings. Blood is the most important component of human body for its survival. Its donation, so the blood can flow in the human veins giving the gift of life, is one of the highest charitable acts.
“When transfused in human veins blood knows no religion, caste or nationality.”

              - His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji, Spiritual Head of the Mission.
