The Sikh community observed the Shaheedi Diwas of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji with deep reverence and unity through a special Dastar-e-Khalsa event held on December 25, 2024, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm at Fairplex, Pomona. The program was organized to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of the Ninth Sikh Guru and to reaffirm the timeless values of faith, courage, and the defense of human rights. Devotees participated in soulful kirtan, inspiring speeches, and colorful cultural performances, creating an atmosphere of devotion and pride. The event successfully brought together families and members of the Sikh community while highlighting Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s enduring legacy of standing for justice and religious freedom.

The Chaar Sahibzaade, the four noble sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, were remembered for their unmatched courage, faith, and sacrifice at a very young age. Two Sahibzaade attained martyrdom while bravely fighting on the battlefield, while the younger two embraced martyrdom by choosing faith over fear and refusing to bow before tyranny. Their supreme sacrifices stood as a powerful symbol of standing firm for truth, justice, and religious freedom. The legacy of Chaar Sahibzaade continues to inspire generations with the message of unwavering belief, bravery, and devotion to righteousness.
