Celebrated Diwali On Nov6th 2021 in city Auditorium of lake Forest

Brand new city facility had their first public program by India association of S. CA and Vedic Hindu Mandir. City mayor Mr. Scott Voigts and staff were delighted to have Diwali festivities to kick of public participation with the city. 

IASC and Vedic Mandir of city of Lake Forest celebrated festival of Diwali on Nov 6th from 1to 5 pm in city Auditorium of Lake Forest CA. Show was full of festive theme and colorful. Program was started by chairperson of IASC Kamini Khare who welcomed the guest and gave brief description of the organization She introduced Richa Sharma the chairperson of Vedic Mandir. She briefed the guest about newly open Hindu Mandir in city of lake forest. Mandir is important place in this city that is serving all communities in surrounding area. Pujari of the Mandir Shri anil Sharma ji was also introduced to public.

He is very knowledgeable pujari and offering all Hindu ceremonies and puja to all Indian families living in surrounding area. New Chairperson of the organization Dr. Sukrit Mukherjee was introduced, and his all public and educational credentials are best to lead the 25 years old IASC organization who has been serving all the Indian community in south land. Dr. Sukrit is excited and humble to take this position to lead the organization for next generation with president Mr. Atul Makwana. Anandya Sharma was also introduced who is also helping the temple and IASC in many ways.

Program was started with lamp lighting ceremony by guest of Honor the Mayor Scott Voigts and all the dignitaries of Community, NFIA President Mr. Ajoy Dube. Longtime supporter of IASC Mr. Harkisan Vasa, Dr Surendar Sharma, Aparna Hande. Next Item was presented by students of Jagruti Gandhi Ganesh Vandana Dance and followed by many other classical and folk dances of India by many other dance teachers.  

Program has broad variety of items with glimpse of dance style colorful costume, musical rhythm. More than 70 artists performed. They were 10 years to 85 years old. Nalini Trivedi who played Roll of Mata Sabari proved on stage that it is never too late to learn new thing in life, well known dance teacher brought their students to show case their dance style from Pasadena. Jagruti Gandhi, Mahalakshmi Balaji, Pavitra Krishnan, Ruchi Lambha and Paulomi Pandit and Anvita, are super dancer and dance teacher who have taken Indian dance style culture in mainstream of California. Kamini Khare presented few scenes of Ramayana, Ram Banawas, Sabari Maata in her Ashram and Goswami Tulsi Das at Chitrakoot with village people.

Ram Leela play made Diwali show in full bloom. Diya dance, shri Ram bhajan dance traditional kathak, Bharat Natyam and Bollywood dances all were favorites of the audience, Dr. Dimple, Panna Patil, and Ruchi Lambha gave their solo performance. Well known singer of Southern California Mr. Sabari Girish was live singer for the evening.  MC of the evening Richa Sharma gave vote of thanks to all the guest and artist who gave their best performance to make the event enjoyable and memorable.
