CRY Galas: Creating Pathways to Possibilities For Children

CRY, Child Rights and You America will be organizing its annual CRY Gala 2026 series across 5 cities - New York, Houston, San Diego, Seattle and the Bay Area. The events will be attended by Award-winning Actor Vikrant Massey whose work in Indian cinema has brought attention to stories that often remain unheard. He has built a reputation for sensitivity and empathy, which has earned him the National Film Award and the Filmfare Award, among other accolades.

CRY America’s Project Partner KV Ramana, a pioneering social worker from rural Andhra Pradesh,  will also be attending. Project Pragathi works with tribal and dalit communities on the issues of education, child labor and child marriage. Under his guidance, Project Pragathi has become a sustainable model of community empowerment.

Guest Speakers will include Venky Harinarayan [Founder rocketship.vc] in the Bay Area, Priya Priyadarshini [Corporate VP, Microsoft] in Seattle, Sandy Santana [Executive Director, Children’s Rights] in Houston and Kranti Ponnam [Managing Partner, Seroda Ventures] in San Diego.
