AIA’s The Great Indian Food & Shopping Fest & Mango Festival Draws Thousands

The Association of Indo Americans (AIA) successfully hosted the highly
anticipated AIA’s The Great Indian Food & Shopping Fest (AIA TGIFS Fest) & Mango
Festival on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, bringing together
more than 15,000+ floating attendees from across the Bay Area for a vibrant celebration
of culture, cuisine, entertainment, shopping, and community.
The festival transformed the venue into a lively multicultural marketplace filled with
energy, flavors, music, and family-friendly experiences throughout the afternoon and
evening. Attendees described the event as a colorful carnival-like celebration packed
with excitement, community spirit, and unforgettable experiences.

One of the biggest highlights of this year’s event was the popular *Mango Festival*,
where attendees enjoyed a wide variety of seasonal mango-inspired desserts,
beverages, sweets, and specialty creations celebrating the beloved fruit during peak
mango season. Long lines and enthusiastic crowds reflected the excitement
surrounding the unique mango-themed offerings.
On this special occasion, AIA also felicitated Sri. Jayaram Komati on his appointment as
the Andhra Pradesh Government’s Special Representative for North America. Speaking
at the event, Sri. Jayaram Komati stated that he was honored and humbled by the
appointment and reaffirmed his commitment to working for the betterment of
communities while helping build stronger relationships between the United States,
Andhra Pradesh, and India.
Several distinguished public officials and community leaders attended the festival and shared their greetings and support from the stage, including:

“It was inspiring to see thousands of families, community members, and leaders come
together to celebrate culture, diversity, and unity,” said representatives from Association
of Indo Americans. “The overwhelming support from attendees, sponsors, vendors,
performers, and volunteers helped make this year’s festival one of the most successful
and memorable celebrations to date.”
The festival featured more than 100 vendors representing Indian and global cuisine,
clothing, jewelry, financial $, fashion, handicrafts, art, home décor, artisan products, and
local small businesses. The event provided a strong platformfor entrepreneurs and
community businesses to connect with thousands of visitors while showcasing the
diversity and richness of multicultural commerce in the Bay Area.
Guests also enjoyed nonstop live entertainment featuring local Bay Area dance groups,
musical performances (EBK & BATA/AIA Karaoke teams), DJ entertainment, and
cultural showcases representing various traditions and communities. Special Mother’s
day “Saree Promonade” was a big success. Carnival rides, games, and interactive
family activities added to the festive atmosphere and made the event enjoyable for
attendees of all ages.
Organized annually by AIA, TGIFS Fest has become one of the Bay Area’s most
anticipated cultural events, reflecting the region’s diversity and community spirit while
promoting cultural awareness, inclusion, and support for local businesses.
