India's Independence Day Celebration

India's 75th Independence Day was celebrated on August 15 with great enthusiasm at the Empire Banquet Hall in Surrey. A large number of prominent members of the community including representatives of various places of worship were present at this celebration. India Cultural Centre of Canada Gurdwara Nanak Niwas ,Richmond, was well represented by Ubed Sidhu, Balbir Jawanda, Mohan Singh Sandhu and Balwant Sanghera. Here ,they are with their friends from the Akali Singh Sikh Society, Vancouver.
