NRI, businessman C. Sivasankaran has outlined a massive
expansion plan of 1,200 outlets in the domestic market

NRI, businessman C. Sivasankaran, will invest Rs 50 crore of total project of Rs 250 crore for the expansion plan of 1,200 outlets in the domestic market. Krishnamurthy, who represents Sivasankaran on Barista Coffee's board of directors, said the chain was expected to cross Rs 900 crore in revenues over the next four years, taking into account expansion in both the domestic and overseas markets .

The company has already begun conducting a market feasibility study to launch its coffee parlours in more regions within South Asia such as Bangladesh, the Maldives, Bhutan and the Mauritius. It has also decided to set up 15 additional outlets in Sri Lanka.
