3 GNCA (Guru Nanak Children Academy, Santa Ana) Jatha teams (Junior Group I, Age Group 10-13 years) from Santa Ana Center participated in the Sri Hemkunt Foundation Western Region Keertan Darbar held in Sikh Gurudwara, San Jose on May 18, 2013. The Raag for this age group was "Gujari". Navneet Chugh, President of Sikh Center of Orange County graced  Award Winning Ceremony of Group I participants in San Jose and encouraged the participants and parents to further this cause.

The team was accompanied by the Orange County Zonal Convener, Dr. Ginny Kaur Chawla, Santa Ana Center Coordinator, Tervinder S. Miglani and the Santa Ana Keertan trainer, Ameet K. Nindra.  

The kids practiced for many hours under the guidance of Ameet Nindra and Gurpreet Pokhale, who trained the kids to play different instruments including Violin and Tanpura for the Keertan Darbaar.
